Scott Heise worked as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force specializing in the Security Forces career field for 20 years. While on active duty, he has deployed a total of seven times to include Iraq and Afghanistan culminating with Presidential Security at Andrews AFB, Maryland. Through his use of the GI bill, he earned his Captain license.

 He has earned his USCG 100-ton Master Captain license and is a professional fisherman.

 Scott serves as the VIPER Director and Captain for Fish to End 22 (FTE22). Fish to End 22, is VIPER’s veteran fishing and support team which is dedicated to raising awareness and support to stop the epidemic of Veteran suicide. FTE22 allows a unique opportunity to share our message with those that can help support VIPER’s mission and offer the opportunities that VIPER provides to Veterans. This cause is personal he says, “The lasting effects suicide has on family and friends is something that no one is prepared for or knows how to handle. We are willing to dedicate our lives to Fish To End 22 as a way to eradicate the evil of losing 22 Veterans a day.
